The WoW Druid Character Guide

My WoW druid guide will point you down the correct path when you are starting out as a druid.

The shape shifting hybrid class in World of Warcraft is the Druid, and this class is one of the most versatile and customizable in the game. Druids of every Spec can find a role for themselves at the end-game whether it’s Raiding or PvP.

In the same way as the other classes in World of Warcraft, Talents for druids fall into three main categories, or trees. Each of the druid talent trees can offer different things.

The druid can be made into a very efficient spell damage dealer by using the Balance Tree that focuses on damage spells. Another great aspect of Balance talents is the ability to modify healing costs which is a must for an effective healer.

The Feral Combat Tree that uses the shape shifting druid forms of Cat, Bear, and Dire Bear, focus on either tanking (Bear and Dire Bear), or on melee DPS(Cat Form). Learning the right times to change forms is something that needs to be learned. The Feral talents will also allow modifications to Mana. Note that in the Moonkin form, you need a lot of Mana.

The last tree, Restoration, will focus primarily on healing and make the druid a great healing class because druids can acquire the Tree of Life form. Some of the Restoration talents, such as Furor, will allow the druid to use Rage while in the Cat and Bear forms. There are other talents which will reduce the mana cost for shape shifting by as much as thirty percent.

There are some setbacks to becoming a druid that you need to know. It can be hard to focus on one thing because there are so many different strategies for Druids. It is also necessary to carry more equipment than other characters since different Forms require different gear, so you will need several complete sets.
