Many Star War fans cannot get enough of the movies and the books. Some are so fanatic that they dress up as their favorite character. Game companies try to keep the fans happy by developing Star Wars games all the time.
Some of the games are precisely like the movies, with cut scenes that match the movie itself. Other games are based on the Star Wars universe.
Too many games are coming out and if they just focus on bringing out a couple each year there would be many better games. Let us take a look at the good ones.
Star Wars Rogue Leader: Rogue Squadron II
This is an excellent game, the best way to play it is to change over to the cockpit mode. This will give you the same feeling as if you were watching the movie, but now you are in control.
The game play is really good. While playing you need to collect different medals and you get the option to play with different ships.
One of the earlier levels is the Death Star, you finally get to play the level of one of the best scenes of the movie.
Star Wars Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast
A very story driven game, you play as Kyle who wants to pick up his light saber after nine years. In the beginning you do not have your light saber powers yet, alternatively you use a gun. After completing each level you can assign force powers to kyle his personality. There are eight powers that you can boost three times each.
There are many weapons available aside from the light saber, but who are we kidding. You are going to play with the light saber only.
Star Wars: The Old Republic
This is an MMORPG game that is massive in its scope. The game takes place before Darth Vader. Story places a big part of the game. The story is based on option that you choose and this will impact your game forever. You will either go in the light or dark direction.
We just looked at three Star Wars games that you need to play, just like Rattatak. You will be pleasantly surprised at how good they are.
