Farmville Coins and Cash

In Farmville there are two basic types of money: Coins and Farm Cash. Farm Cash is a rather new addition to the game. It enables the farmer to buy special items. For instance, during the Alien Invasion, the Flying Saucer can only be purchased with Farm Cash. Buildings like the Tea House, Groovy Barn and Pagoda all require that you save up your Farm Cash or purchase more on your account.

Extra Coins and Cash can be bought with real cash using a credit card or Paypal. Farmville accepts Visa, Mastercard, and American Express. I suggest using real money only on Farm Cash; with a rather short time investment you can effortlessly save up lots of coins for more things.

Coins

You will deal with Farm coins more often because it is the common currency used in Farmville. You use Farm Coins when you plow, plant and purchase certain objects for your farm. You receive coins when you harvest animals or crops. When you harvest milk from a cow, coins will be added to your account balance instantly. The same goes for plants; whenever you harvest a lemon tree, you don’t receive lemons, you get rewarded with coins. Observe your coin balance closely. This will aid you in choosing the kinds of crops to grow. There are times when you have to decide between planting a whole field of a inexpensive crop or planting only a few squares of an expensive one. To determine which is giving you the most income, always keep a calculator handy.

Farm Cash

Farm cash is added on your account at the rate of 1 a day, so DON’T SPEND YOUR FARM CASH ON ANYTHING YOU CAN BUY WITH COINS!!!. Seriously, do not use your Farm Cash without thinking thoroughly. There are special buildings, special farmville animals during events, fuel for your vehicles— wider variety of items that can only be bought with Farm cash. Save it until you certainly need it!!!  Only use it for rare objects during events which will help get more rare items. Rare animals such as the Baby Turkey introduced during the Thanksgiving event( though there is a Wild Turkey also available during this event as a Lost Animal) and decorations only available during that event are examples of nice purchases. Remember, it’s your farm therefore it should reflect your own character.

If ever you will buy vehicles such as a tractor or seeder, be ready to handle the price of fuel. A vehicle needs to be gassed up for it to function, or else it will be just an expensive decoration that takes up space. If you’re planning on having a large farm with a lot of vehicles, you may want to think about buying Farm Cash to help keep everything running efficiently.

There are three basic types of crops in Farmville: Animals, Trees, and Regular Crops which you need to plant.  For more information regarding Trees topic read Farmville Trees.
